Who am I?

Well I'm an Airsofter in Wiltshire that has been interested.... er.... obsessed by the sport since about 2001 and have been a member of UKAN for almost as long.  I work in the IT sector and am old enough to know better ;o).  I am living with my partner and have been for about 9 years!  Life is sometimes good and quite often bad but she keeps me going.  We have a cat and we love her like to bits, she keeps us in check and makes sure we wake up in time for work ;o)

Why Airsoft?

I was looking for a sport that was fun, got me fit and that I enjoyed, this is not as easy as it sounds.  I'm useless at football and squash, I find running and the Gym very boring and didn't really think Bowling got you fit ;o).  Then I remembered a few years ago playing paintball on a works outing.  I had a really good time even though it hurt, so I thought I'd take up paintball.  But one of the things I didn't like about paintball was the fact the guns looked silly and the paintballs were very inaccurate.   Then I stumbled across a website with this thing called Airsoft.  The more I read the more it sounded exactly like what I was looking for.  All the fun of Paintball but with better looking and less painful guns!  Now 2 years down the line I love it just as much.
